Welcome to our new website!
Yay! You found us! We have a website! Have you had a chance to look around yet? Go ahead, have a look, I’ll wait. What did you think? It’s a good start right? I have many ideas for the Canadianmqc and I’m really excited that you are here to see what is up. Having this space will hopefully make it easier to share larger chunks of information, have your chance to add your voice to what the Canadianmqc is up to and to really help our community flourish!
I don’t really want to bore you with too much info but I wanted to give you an insight into some of the things I have plans to start in the near future or that are already in the works.
Canadian Resources: This section will be coming very soon. Here you will be able to find links to your favourite Canadian Modern Fabric Shops. You may even discover a few new shops that you didn’t even know about. There will also be a section for amazing Canadian Companies that make quilting related products. We want to make sure you have access to the Modern Quilting products you need so you can keep quilting!
Instagram Takeovers: This fall weekend Instagram take overs will be starting! We have started inviting Canadian companies, pattern designers and other quilters to takeover the Instagram account. They will also be invited to write a guest blog post on our website.
Virtual Quilt Show: I’m really excited for this section! This section will allow us to a have a collection of quilt photos to really showcase our Canadian talent! I really want your input for this section and how we run shows on it. Get thinking about how you would like this section to run and watch out for a blog and instagram posts in the near feature to share your ideas!
Calendar of Events: This section will house awesome Modern Quilting special events happening all across Canada. If you have an event you want added to our calendar send an email to info@canadianmqc.ca.
