Important updates (Nov, 2024)

Over the past couple of years, my life has been shaped by unexpected challenges and events beyond my control. Just as things seemed to settle, another layer of difficulty has emerged. My focus now must shift entirely to supporting my kids and taking the time needed to emotionally heal and regroup.

As a result, I’ve made the difficult decision to take a year off from the Canadian Modern Quilt Collective. Here’s what this pause will look like:

• Memberships: All memberships will be canceled as it is the only way to pause memberships

• Website & Resources: The website will remain up, and resources will continue to be accessible and updated periodically

• Posts: While I may share a random post here and there, this will be sporadic.

• Refund Requests: If you would like a refund for this year’s membership, you’re welcome to request one. I will process these as time allows.

• Membership Swag: There is a pile of membership swag ready to be sent once the postal strike ends. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to bring in new merchandise this year, so I’m sending out additional labels instead. I sincerely apologize for this adjustment.

I am profoundly grateful for the support and understanding you’ve shown me over the years. This community has been such an important part of my life, and I truly value each and every one of you. This is not a decision I ever wanted to make, nor one I make lightly.

Thank you for standing by me as I take this time to focus on my family and my own healing. I look forward to reconnecting when the time is right.
